Perky

K seemed pretty perky when I got here this afternoon, sitting up and interacting with her collection of items on her bedside table. Barbara the PT came and helped her do some exercises with her remaining leg, and transfer from bed to wheelchair and back. She says she had a hard time waking up yesterday, and the RN "started flippin' out." But she kept asking the RN "how her respirations" were, and they admitted all her vitals were fine. The case manager Gloria said a few days ago, that the "tentative" discharge date (based on the typical 25-30 day stay) would be the 14th, but they'll do an evaluation before setting the real date. Not sure where she'll go from here -- either home or a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF).
