More-than-fun Wednesday afternoon hike at Meyer Ranch Park! Still some fun colors along the trail, as well as some good old-fashioned hill-climbing exercise, and the occasional nice view through the trees. We skipped a tempting side hike, a half mile farther and several hundred feet higher to Legault Mountain, after we realized that it would likely get us back to the car after sunset. We started heading back down, just as the air temp began dropping quickly. Chilled and hungry, we stopped for an early dinner at J.J.Madwell’s in Aspen Park.
