TV as Art

This is what it looks like, when you’re in the middle of watching Chicago Fire, and all the Xfinity services go out, which for me includes my landline phone, Internet, and 100+ TV channels. I’m actually quite impressed by the artful presentation of the highly pixelized image that happened to be on the screen at the time service went out. On the bright side, Xfinity just texted me to acknowledge that my service is out, and they’re working on it, so there’s that. I’m glad to have the final backup of a cell phone with access to telephone, Internet, and streaming services. I think I’ll go flying with the X-Plane simulator, which I loaded from a DVD, and shouldn’t need the Internet. We’ll see…
